 One Infinite Division, Inc., the parent company of OVIS®, is a family-owned and operated organization based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Founded by a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, registered nurses, HVAC and plumbing specialists, construction experts, and business leaders. OVIS® was created to address an overlooked environmental hygiene challenge hiding in plain sight: contamination within sink overflow vents.

The OVIS® Overflow Vent Irrigation System is a patented device designed to clean and sanitize the hidden overflow vents found in most bathroom sinks. While routine cleaning focuses on visible surfaces and drains, the overflow channel often remains untreated, allowing moisture, organic debris, and microbial biofilm to accumulate over time.

Our mission began with a simple question: Why do bathroom sinks continue to smell even after they have been cleaned? As we investigated, we discovered that sink overflow vents are frequently overlooked in sanitation protocols despite their potential to harbor odor-causing buildup and microbial contamination.

Through research, environmental sampling, and collaboration with healthcare and sanitation professionals, we have worked to raise awareness about the importance of sink hygiene and the role hidden plumbing spaces may play in environmental contamination. Our multi-state Community Sink Hygiene Study evaluated sink overflow contamination and demonstrated significant reductions in microbial gene copies following implementation of the OVIS® cleaning protocol.
